there ever was?

Life has been lost on "IF"
Lives have been tossed on "IF"
Loves have been smothered on "IF"
Lies have been lived on "IF"

But, what if...
there was no "IF"
and "IF" was "WAS"
and "IF" was "TRUTH"
and "IF" was "GONE"

what would we be...

if there was no if
and everything that was "IF"
was now "IS"?

And "IS" was now the
biggest
Little word
there ever was.

There'd be no more
"WHAT IF?"
and it all would be...
"WHAT IS!"
